Komets' Veteran Signings Just The Beginning

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The signings of veteran stars Colin Chaulk, Brett Smith, and Kaleigh Schrock have set the Komets down the road to building their first ECHL team, but there is much more road to travel.

The three are all veterans, and now the K's will have to find talented younger players and carefully choose additional veterans in making out the rest of their 2012-13 opening roster.

And they still await word on the status of goalie Nick Boucher's ailing hip.
