Kalamazoo, MI (incnow.tv)- Thomas Beauregard has been itching to get back in the lineup and the Komets have needed his offense. It showed up in the first period of his first game back after missing 8 games with a sore shoulder.
Beauregard scored in the first period and Eric Giosa added another in the 3rd as the Komets beat Kalamazoo, 2-1. The win gets the K's within 7 points of first place and idle Cincinnati.
The K's host Kalamazoo in the Coliseum on Friday before welcoming in Cincinnati on Saturday night.
