FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- The Komets and the rest of the Central Hockey League take the week off until Friday for the All Star break and game at Rapid City on Wednesday night.
The K's still smarting from the sting of the overtime loss to Quad City Sunday, but the fact of the matter remains that in eight of the last nine games the Komets have notched at least one point.
And that is what Al Sims chooses to hang the team's hat on right now, that though the progress to a playoff spot is slow, there is progress
Sims does have a problem to deal with this week, the roster, some players like Kaleigh Schrock will come off the injured list and some moves will have to be made.
