Late West Michigan Rally Dooms TinCaps

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - West Michigan's Dean Green belted a tie breaking two run homer in the eighth inning Sunday to push the Whitcaps to a 5-3 win over the TinCaps.

Green's blast capped a four run eighth inning and came off TinCaps closer Matt Stites, brought on in the inning earlier than usual by manager Jose Valentin.

Mike Gallic has a pair of hits for Fort Wayne and raised his average to .325
