UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The real estate business co-owned by Mad Ants assistant coacg and former college and NBA star Christian Laettner owes $30 million in loans to various creditors, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
Litigation is underway against Laettner and a business partner seeking repayment.
Mad Ants president Jeff Potter says he was aware of Laettner's financial issues when he hired him, says they happened some time ago, and that Laettner, who had no comment to the Wall Street Journal, has been forthright with him about the situation.
Potter says Laettner has been a big asset to the Ants on and off the court since his arrival.
