FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Daniel Maggio banged home a power play goal with 45 seconds left in overtime Sunday night to give the Komets a 2-1 win over the Kalamazoo K-Wings.

The K-Wings took a second period lead on a goal by Stefan Schneider, a goal matched five minutes later by the Komets Brett Smith.

That was it until overtime when Kalamazoo's Mitch Versteeg was whistled to the penalty box for cross checking, and Maggio responded a short time later with the game winner.

The K's end the week with five points in four game and host Cincinnati on Wednesday.
