Parker Snaps Losing Streak, Shines In Oakland Win

OAKLAND (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Jarrod Parker broke out of a personal three game losing streak with eight shutout innings in leading the Oakland Athletics to their 7-0 win over Cleveland Sunday.

Parker, the former Norwell star, moved to 8-7 in his rookie season by scattering six hits, fanning two, and retiring 16 of the last 18 hitters he faced.
