Parker Takes Tough No Decision Against Giants

SAN FRANCISCO (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Former Norwell star Jarrod Parker saw another great pitching effort go by the wayside on Friday night,.

Parker allowed just a run on four hits with four strikeouts and a walk in six innings against the San Francisco Giants for the Oakland Athletics late Friday night.

He left with a 3-1 lead, but the Oakland bullpen surrendered that lead and in the end the game 5-4.

Parker's record remains at 3-3, but his earned run average did improve to 2.70.
