INDIAIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Firestone Indy Lights point leader Sebastian Saavedra topped Day 2 of practice Sunday for the 2012 Indianapolis 500.
Saavedra, driving for AFS Racing/Andretti Autosport, has a top lap of , 221.526 mph, the fastest of the first two days of practice.
Rookies Bryan Clauson and Josef Newgarden were second and third fastest, Clauson at 221.173 mph, Newgarden, fastest in Saturday's practice, at 221.158 mph..
2008 500 winner Scott Dixon at 220.829 and Justin Wilson at 220.615 completed the top five on the speed chart..
31 drivers practiced and the day was incident free for the second straight day.
