South Bend Outslugs TinCaps

(Fort Wayne, Indiana) -- Franmil Reyes gave the Fort Wayne TinCaps a 7 - 3 lead with a two - run homer in the fourth inning, but South Bend rallied late in the game and went on to beat the TinCaps 10 - 7. Silver Hawks shortstop Andrew Velazquez set a new minor league record by reaching base for a 72 nd consecutive game. The series wraps up Monday night and former Major Leaguer Bill Buckner will be at the game to meet with fans and sign autographs.
