TinCaps Bats Explode In Win At Kane County

GENEVA, ILLINOIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The TinCaps pounded out 16 hits in routing Kane County 12-1 Friday night to end a two game losing slide.

Travis Whitmore had four hits and drove in three runs and Kyle Gaedele backed him with three more hits and three more RBIs.

Cody Hebner was the beneficiary on the mound of the Fort Wayne onslaught, going five innings and allowing just a run and five hits in raising his record to 2-0.

The series, in which each team has now won once, wraps up Saturday at Kane County.
