TinCaps, Bowling Green Divide Twin Bill

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The TinCaps and Bowling Green Hot Rods split their rain forced doubleheader Sunday at Parkview Field.

The Caps won the suspended game from Saturday night 7-2, as Duanel Jones highlighted a three run third inning with a two run double.

Lee Orr hit his first homer since early June in the fifth inning.

The Hot Rods battered Cody Hebner in the regularly scheduled game, with a five run third highlighted by Tyler Goeddel's base clearing triple, and went on to get a 7-4 win.

Kyle Gaedele had four hits and two RBIs in the doubleheader for Fort Wayne.

The four game series continues Monday night.
