FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Josh Sale drove in the tying and go ahead runs with a fifth inning single and the Bowling Green Hot Rods pulled away from there for a 9-3 win over the TinCaps Saturday night, with 7.609 on hand to watch at Parkview Field.

The Caps spotted the Hot Rods an early 1-0 lead, then tied the game on an error in the bottom of the first, and went ahead on a fourth inning Austin Hedges RBI double.

But then Sale's hit moved Bowling Green in front, and the Hot Rods roughed up TinCaps reliever Ruben Mejia for five runs in the seventh inning.

Mike Gallic completed the Fort Wayne scoring with an eighth inning solo homer.
