Wrigley Field’s Makeover Price Tag Revealed

CHICAGO (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A possible makeover for Chicago's Wrigley Field may come with a $300 million price tag for taxpayers.

Cubs owner Tom Ricketts is proposing a plan that would require the state to sell $300 million in bonds and use the funds to fix-up the ball park.

Ricketts plans to pay back the bonds with an amusement tax on each Cubs game ticket sold.

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley and Illinois Governor Pat Quinn aren't sold on the plan.

Daley supposedly has a better idea, but has yet to share it with the public.
