FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Komets are on the back end of a series of five games in seven days. Despite splitting four games last week, the K's remain atop the Turner Conference.
The Komets picked up another important 4-3 victory at Evansville on Wednesday night. The K's now lead the Iceman 7-3-0 in the season series.
On Friday night, the Komets beat Quad City, 4-1, on Coliseum ice. It was the Komets' fifth straight victory over the Mallards.
The Komets were shutout, 5-0, at Dayton on Saturday night; the K's fell Sunday at Bloomington, 4-1. The Komets have lost three straight to the Blaze.
The Komets hope for some redemption against the Blaze this week. The K's travel to Bloomington for a 8:05 p.m. faceoff Tuesday, and host the Blaze Friday at 8 p.m.
The Komets also host Allen at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, as the Americans make their first trip to Fort Wayne.
