FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne Komets skated to four points in three games over the week to remain in second place in the Turner Conference.
The K's (69 points) are seven points back of first-place Evansville (76) as the regular season starts to wind down.
The Komets won at Tulsa on Tuesday night, 2-1 in overtime. Fort Wayne followed that up with a 5-4 shootout win against Arizona. But the K's closed out the week with a 0-3 loss Saturday to the IceMen.
The Komets have opportunities this week to gain ground on Evansville. The K's travel to Quad City on Tuesday and Friday for 8:05 p.m. faceoffs. The Komets host Bloomington Wednesday night at 7:30, and welcome Wichita at 5 p.m. Sunday.
