FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne Komets goaltender is ready to put the past few weeks behind him.
Returning from a four game suspension for his role in a line brawl against Bloomington, Boucher is mindful of the K's putting forth their best effort every night, as the regular season starts to wind down.
The Komets are six points behind Evansville in the Turner Conference standings. Each win is crucial.
Boucher dismissed tweets from Wichita goalie Adam Russo (@BigRooss), who took issue with Boucher's actions in the Bloomington-Fort Wayne line brawl. Russo challenged Boucher to a fight the next the Komets and Thunder play, riled K's fans who tweeted him in return and trashed Fort Wayne as a whole. Russo has since backed off some of his comments.
Boucher fired back at Russo on Sound Off With The Komets, encouraging Komets fans not to acknowledge Russo's actics, and to let play on the ice settle things.
The Komets host Wichita Sunday night.
