FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne Komets had a very successful past week, gaining seven points and regaining a first place tie with Evansville in the Central Hockey League's Turner Conference standings.
The Komets won at Quad City, 3-2, Tuesday night. The Komets returned to Coliseum ice for a 4-3 overtime win over Bloomington. The Komets traveled back to Quad City on Friday night for a 7-2 blowout of the Mallards. The K's closed out the weekend with one point in a 2-3 shootout loss to Wichita.
The Komets travel to Dayton on Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. You can catch the game at Wrigley Field Bar & Grill.
The Komets host Evansville on Friday and Saturday nights in two games that could loom large in the Turner Conference standings. Friday's game is at 8 p.m.; Saturday's is at 7:30 p.m.
