FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne Komets used an impressive 6-2 win Sunday against Dayton to close out the regular season with the Turner Conference Championship.
The win gives the K's the 1-seed on their side of the bracket against 8-seed Rapid City. Though the Komets have home ice advantage, the series will not be played in Fort Wayne until Games 3, 4, 5 (if necessary) and 7 (if necessary).
