FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne Komets split their first two opening round playoff games in Rapid City, and look forward to returning to the Coliseum for home ice advantage.
The K's lost Game 1, 3-6, on Friday night; but returned the favor, 3-1, in Game 2. The best-of-seven series returns to Fort Wayne for Game 3 Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., Game 4 Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Game 5 Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
Komets winger Kaleigh Schrock joins Tommy Schoegler on Sound Off With The Komets presented by PHP. Schrock, a Fort Wayne native, has become a fan favorite, and spent the half hour recapping the regular season, breaking down the playoff match-up with the Rush and answering questions from the audience and viewers at home.
Schrock scored 12 goals and 22 assists (34 points) in the regular season. Schrock netted a goal on Saturday, too.
