FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne Komets find themselves down 2 games to none to Missouri in a Turner Conference Finals series marred by controversy.
The K's nearly had a Game 1 win sealed when defenseman Brent Henley was called for intentionally knocking the net off its moorings.
The Mavericks cashed in on a penalty shot with 19 seconds left in the third period to tie the game; and would eventually score the game-winner in overtime.
Game 2 really got away from the Komets. Goalie Nick Boucher was pulled after allowing two early goals. The K's would go on to lose, 6-3.
Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary) are in Missouri on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Facetimes are 8:05 p.m. EDT. You can watch all three at Wrigley Field Bar & Grill.
Games 6 and 7 would be back in Memorial Coliseum both at 7:30 p.m.
