FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Blake Sebring says what could save the Komets in their ongoing series with Missouri amounts to the Komets not high pressure style of play.
Officiating has not helped.
Sebring, who has covered the Komets for The News-Sentinel for the last 22 seasons, says regular season officiating is different than playoff officiating. He advocates the CHL adding a third referee to its games.
"I think it's an impossible situation," Sebring says. "Because there's no way one guy can look at the net, look at the guy shooting the puck to see if he scores, to see if (knocking the net off the moorings) is intentional."
Sebring sounds off on the current Komets series and the history of the franchise on Sound Off With The Komets.
