Meisner Suspended 1 Game For Misconduct Penalty

PRINCETON, N.J. (21Alive) - The East Coast Hockey League has suspended Fort Wayne Komets goaltender Ben Meisner one game for his game misconduct penalty during Sunday's game against Kalamazoo.

Meisner threw a puck into the stands late in the game Sunday, and left the remainder of the game with 1:54 left in game.

Meisner will serve his suspension Wednesday when the Komets play at Kalamazoo.

Meisner was also fine an undisclosed amount of money. The fine will go to the ECHL Player's Hardship Fund
