FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - TinCaps pitcher Cody Hebner is described as the class clown of the team, often looking to make a joke or pull a prank.
The right-hander from from Auburn, Wash., says the playful nature of the entire team has really built confidence and unity in the clubhouse.
Hebner (6-4) has done well to work through an early-season rough patch. He has a 4.42 ERA. He says a big focus in his game is getting ahead of opposing batters, while working the strike zone.
Hebner joins Tommy Schoegler by phone on the TinCaps bus as they head to South Bend.
