FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - TinCaps pitcher Adys Portillo has really improved his pitching in his second year with the team.
The Venezuelan right-hander is 6-6 in 17 starts this year with a 1.87 ERA. Those marks are a far cry from his 3-11 record and 7.11 ERA a year ago.
Portillo also started on the mound for the East team in the Midwest League All-Star Game in June. He pitched one scoreless inning, and got the win in an 18-2 route over the West.
Portillo joins Dean Pantazi on Sound Off With The TinCaps to talk about the improvements this season.
