FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - TinCaps shortstop Jace Peterson says much of the success the team has had in the second half of the regular season can be attributed to getting a half-season under the belt.
"It's just getting through the routine of a daily grind," Peterson says. "Whether you do bad one day, or great one day; the next day, you got to come back and play."
That grind has placed the TinCaps in second place in the Eastern Division. The 'Caps enter a long homestand this week that could bolster the playoff picture.
Peterson joined Tommy Schoegler on Sound Off With The TinCaps presented by Northern Indiana-Ohio Chevy Dealers. Click on the video icon to see the whole segment.
