INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Super Bowl XLVI is in the books. The Giants beat the Patriots, 21-17, to win the franchise a fourth Vince Lombardi Trophy. And the Hoosier State won the hearts of media and celebrities from around the world.
ESPN NFL analyst John Clayton joined Tommy Schoegler and Kent Hormann on Sound Off to talk about the Hoosier Hospitality last week and the great game that punctuated Indianapolis' shining moment.
Clayton also chimed in on Peyton Manning, who becomes the focus of the NFL landscape. Clayton says the real test of time is not the Mar. 8 deadline the Colts have to release or keep Manning; rather, its the start of a new season in September, and how well Manning--for whichever team--can physically perform.
