BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana's 71-66 win Wednesday night over Northwestern gave the Hoosiers their first 20-win season in the Tom Crean Era.
The mantra from IU fans throughout the season has been, "We're back!" Back to a place where many IU fans say their men's basketball program should have never left.
A log jam of ranked teams ahead of the No. 18 Indiana (20-6) will likely keep the Hoosiers from a regular season league title. But the glimpses of greatness Indiana has shown all season could yield deep runs in the Big Ten Tournament and NCAA Tournament in March.
Terry Hutchens, who covers Indiana men's basketball for The Indianapolis Star joined Tommy Schoegler and Kent Hormann on Sound Off to talk about the rebirth in Bloomington, and how this season could translate in the near future.
