FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne Komets are moving full steam ahead in their move to the East Coast Hockey League.
The K's re-signed centers Colin Chaulk and Brett Smith and winger Kaleigh Schrock earlier this week. Chaulk will also serve as K's assistant coach, after the recent departure of Gary Graham.
Also, Komets general manager David Franke broke the news on Sound Off that goalie Nick Boucher will need surgery to fix bone spurs. The surgery could keep Boucher, who has yet to re-sign with the K's, out for the first half the season.
Franke joined Tommy Schoegler and AWP President & CEO Michael Ledo to talk about the roster moves.
