FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - It's really no surprise that Leo is the favorite to win the Allen County Athletic Conference again this year.
The Lions, who have won 22 straight conference games, are looking for their fourth consecutive ACAC crown. An influx of former Harding talent has also taken root at Leo, which helps reload from the graduation of back-to-back semi-state appearances.
Outside of Leo, there could be a bottleneck towards the top of the ACAC standings.
Bluffton enters season No. 3 under Casey Kolkman. The upper classmen have been around Kolkman's system enough, the Tigers really want to make a splash this season.
Garrett enters a new season with head coach Chris DePew, who moved to his alma mater from East Noble. DePew bred a winning culture in Kendallville; and looks to do the same with the Railroaders.
And don't forget Adams Central. The Jets flew to a surprising sectional championship after losing record in the regular season. Head coach Michael Mosser hopes to turn that momentum in to a solid 2012 campaign.
Tommy Schoegler and AWP's Michael Ledo and Scott Zeigler preview the ACAC, and make their preseason picks on Sound Off.
