FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - James Knapke and Zach Terrell are two of the best high school quarterbacks in Northeast Indiana. It was only fitting that both verbally committed to Mid-American Conference schools in the same week.
Knapke heads into his senior year with Bishop Luers already winning two 2A football state championships with the Knights. He verbally committed to Bowling Green on Tuesday.
Terrell has proven to be a serious dual-threat quarterback for Homestead. He passed and rushed for a combined for 3,100 yards and 40 touchdown in 2010. He chose Western Michigan on Wednesday.
Knapke and Terrell stopped by Sound Off to tell Tommy Schoegler and Dean Pantazi about their choices, the recruiting process and potential MAC rivalry in the future.
