Carroll, New Haven, Homestead Win; Norwell Gets First; Huntington North, Churubusco Victors (VIDEO)

UNDATED (21 Alive) - Carroll and Homestead regained the winning touch, New Haven remained unbeaten, Norwell left the ranks of the winless, and Huntington North and Churubusco again enjoyed success Friday night.

Drue Tranquill exploded for 236 yards on just six carries, scored four touchdowns on the ground and a fifth on a pass reception to lead Carroll's 55-7 blasting of Bellmont.

Justin Tranquill added 165 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Chargers.

Vance Shearer tossed three touchdown passes and D'Andre Smith added a rushing score to help New Haven move to 6-0 with their 29-6 win over Columbia City.

Logan Ormsby threw for three touchdowns, and went for 118 yards on the ground as Homestead battered DeKalb 68-13.

Carlos Sanchez added 75 rushing yards and two scores for the Spartans.

Piercen Harnish threw for two touchdowns, both to Reggie Hayes, and ran for 96 yards and another score as Norwell won for the first time with a huge upset of East Noble 35-7.

Huntington North rang up a 41-7 win over Marion.

Kane Johnson ran for 135 yards and three touchdowns on just five carries to help power Churubusco to a 42-0 win over West Noble, moving the Chargers to 6-0
