DeKalb, New Haven, Homestead, Concordia, Woodlan Reach Sectional Finals (With Video)

UNDATED (www.incnow,tv) - DeKalb, New Haven, Homestead, Concordia, and Woodlan have all reached sectional final games in boys basketball.

At the 4A Carroll Sectional, Adison Daub hit two free throws in the final seconds and score twelve points to help lift DeKalb over NHC rival Columbia City 46-45.

Cole Hartman led DeKalb with 19 points while Derek Hinen paced Columbia City with 18.

V.J. Beachem and Jabar Ray each hit for 23 points to power New Haven past Wayne 81-62 at the 4A Huntington North Sectional.

Steve McElvene added ten points and twelve rebounds while blocking four shots for the Bulldogs, with Justin Mitchell's 21 points topping the Generals

Homestead got 16 points and a final second tie breaking three pointer from Nick Gamble to lead their 48-45 conquest of Jay County in the other semifinal at Huntington, winning the right to meet New Haven Saturday night in the final.

Trevor Osborn added eleven for the Spartans, and Scott Schwieterman topped the Patriots with 14.

At the 3A Garrett Sectional, Marq Rogers tossed in 17 points while D.J. McCall and Thomas Starks each put in 16 to show the way in Concordia's 73-59 win over Leo.

Sam Waters hit for a team high 16 for the Lions.

The spot opposite Concordia in the Garrett final goes to Woodlan after their 54-37 win over Angola led by Kadin Gerig's 18 points.

The Hornets got 13 from Justin Davis to lead them.
