East Noble Hands New Haven First Loss, Churubusco Rebounds, Snider Wins SAC, Luers Pounded On Road

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - New Haven's NHC title hopes took a severe blow Friday night, while Churubusco stayed in place to win the NECC, Snider won the SAC, and Luers lost for the second time in Ohio this season.

Walter Boyles scored two short run touchdowns and East Noble held New Haven to 95 yards total offense in handing the Bulldogs their first loss of the season 17-0.

Jason Nicodemus ran for 300 yards and two touchdowns as Churubusco took a comeback 29-23 win at Fairfield, setting up their winner take all NECC title showdown with Lakeland at Churubusco next week.

Alex Reuille scored a pair of touchowns and Snider rolled up 305 yards on the ground in pounding Bishop Dwenger 43-0 to win the Summit Athletic Conference title for the first time since 2005.

Bishop Luers absorbed a 40-7 loss at unbeaten Columbus Bishop Hartley in Ohio.
