FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Nick Gamble nailed a three pointer at the buzzer Friday night to lift Homestead to a 59-58 win over Columbia City in a battle of NHC boys basketball unbeatens.
Gamble led the victorious Spartans with 16 points and Caleb "Biggie" Swanigan added 13 points and 16 rebounds.
Eagles sharpshooter Drew Benedict hit seven three pointers and led all scorers with 23 points.
Homestead is now tied with DeKalb for the NHC lead at 3-0.
