FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Northeast Hoosier Conference football race should be fun to watch this year.

"Half-Century Homestead" returns quarterback Zach Terrell and the 50-point offense.

And New Haven hopes the combination of last year's state leading rusher Te'Vaughn Hurse and a handful of Harding transfers can take the Bulldogs to new heights.

New Haven survived a homefield scare against Heritage Friday night, thanks to a huge 83-yard kick return for a touchdown by Hurse.

New Haven senior Andrew Hoffer talks about the close win, and what the Bulldogs can do to improve from Week 1.
