FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Luers is the first Bishop of Fort Wayne again with their win over Dwenger on Friday night.

The Knights beat the Saints, 26-15, Friday night to close out the regular season with their first Summit Athletic Conference Championship since 2001.

Luers finished the regular season 8-1; the Knights lone loss a deceiving forfeit of a 53-0 win at South Side on Sept. 2. Throughout the season, Luers has shown dominance of this city again.

Head coach Matt Lindsay says he and a select few members of the football team will retreive the Victory Bell from Bishop Dwenger on Monday. Lindsay joined Tommy Schoegler and AWP President & CEO Michael Ledo, a former Luers championship player, to talk about the Luers big win and first conference crown in a long time.
