FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Just a week ago, North Side and Northrop met in the regular season finale at Spuller. The ping-pong sectional draw matched the Redskins and the Bruins against each other for the second week in a row.
A home game for Northrop, the first round match-up was moved to Wayne Stadium, after the rainy Snider vs. South Side game Thursday night made the Spuller Stadium feel unplayable.
North Side quarterback CJ Jackson was the difference-maker in a close game, scoring the go-ahead touchdown run with about 4 minutes left in the fourth quarter. The Redskins beat a rebuilding Northrop, 39-35.
Jackson joined Tommy Schoegler and AWP President & CEO on More of The Score to talk about the big win for North Side.
