INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Bishop Luers left no doubt all season long in what they set out to acheive in August. The Knights won IHSAA 2A Football State Championship on Friday night, beating Evansville Mater Dei, 41-17.

The win marks Luers' third straight 2A title, the fourth in five years and the tenth in school history.

Luers senior Drew Morkin won the 2A Football Mental Attitude winner to cap off the night for the Knights.

Head coach Matt Lindsay joined Tommy Schoegler and AWP President & CEO Tommy Schoegler to talk about the latest state championship, Lindsay's ninth in his 25 seasons at Luers.
