FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Junior Bailey Farley is the top-scorer on a Canterbury girls basketball team that leads the state in team scoring.

Farley averages over 15 points per game, and recently became the seventh Canterbury girls player to reach the 1,000-point career point plateau.

Farley attributes much of her individual success to the hard work she puts in over the summer, playing AAU basketball. Fairley says playing for her dad, Gil, in Fort Wayne's Spiece Gym Rats program has really improved her game.

That improvement has carried over to the high school courts. Farley has helped the 1A No. 1 Lady Cavaliers to an impressive 21-2 season to date. With sights on another state championship, Fairley admits she and her Canterbury teammates have high hopes for the outcome of this season. Farley says those expectations have to be met by a high level of play, no matter the opponent.

Farley talked to Tommy Schoegler and AWP Director of Operations Scott Zeigler on More of The Score about a fantastic season for both her and the Lady Cavs.
