NEW HAVEN, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - New Haven comes into 2011 off one of its best season in school history in 2010.
The Bulldogs were led by the state's leading rusher, running back Te'Vaughn Hurse, and his near 3,000 yards. And while New Haven lost to eventual 4A state runner-up Bishop Dwenger at regional, Hurse and the rest of his teammates turned some heads around Northeast Indiana.
The closure of Harding this summer moved some former Hawks from the green & gold to the purple & gold. The 'Dawgs hope those additions will help New Haven see new postseason territory this fall.
