Kokomo Ends Homestead's Season

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Blake Brutus booted a 19 yard field goal as time expired and Kokomo pulled the 44-41 upset of Homestead in a 5A sectional football semifinal.

The loss, Homestead's only one after ten wins, ended the Spartans's season.

Armon Bridgeforth of Kokomo was as good as advertised with 160 yards rushing and four touchdowns.

Zach Terrell's last game for Homestead was a gem with 370 passing yards and four touchdowns, plus a touchdown on the ground.

Kokomo will host Snider next Friday in the sectional final
