Snider, Dwenger, Carroll Move To Sectional Finals

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Snider, Dwenger, and Carroll took a step further in the high school football playoffs with sectional sxemifinal wins Friday night.

John Nelson ran through North Side with 243 rushing yards and three touchdowns as Snider avenged its regular season loss to the Redskins with a 35-14 win.

C,J, Jackson ran for 138 yards and a score and threw for a touchdown for North.

Snider will play at Kokomo in the 5A sectional final next Friday.

Dalton Wheeler ran for 136 yards and a touchdown, and Mike Fiacable had 171 yards in the air with a score to help Bishop Dwenger oust New Haven 31-21 in 4A.

Te'Vaughn Hurse ran for 123 yards and a touchdown for New Haven.

Dwenger goes to Leo for the sectional final next week.

Grant Wilson threw for a score and ran for another while Matt Melchi scored on two short runs as Carroll downed Goshen 28-10 in 5A.

The Chargers will host Penn next Friday in a sectional title game.
