Snider Girls Trim Luers

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Freshman Deja Wimby came up big with 19 points as 4A ninth ranked Snider upended 2A second ranked Bishop Luers 54-48 in girls basketball Friday night.

Wimby's performance came on a night when Snider's two scoring leaders, Meredith Shipman and Akilah Sims, were held to seven and six points respectivley.

Miracle Woods had 18 to pace the Luers attack.
