Elmhurst Claims First Ever Girls SAC Hoops Title

(Fort Wayne) - Lecretia Smith notched 26 points and Liza Clemons added 15 to give Elmhurst a 63-54 girls basketball win over South Side Friday night, and the Lady Trojans' first ever Summit Athletic conference title.

Elmhurst finished the season 8-1 in the league.

Shavonda Price led South with 24 points.
