Snider Tops Wayne, Dwenger Keeps Bishop's Trophy, 'Busco Earns Title Share

(UNDATED) - Snider gained momentum for the upcoming playoffs Friday night with a 49-28 win over Wayne.

James Starks ran for two touchdowns and Jason McGraw ran for 82 yards and a score for the Panthers, who host unbeaten Kokomo in the first round of the 5A playoffs next week.

Wade Markley threw for 149 yards and ran for two touchdowns as SAC champ Bishop Dwenger retained the Bishop's Trophy and remained unbeaten with a 62-0 rout of Bishop Luers

Kyle Mathewson had 167 yards and a touchdown, and Jordan Hamilton had the winning touchdown in the fourth quarter as Churubusco surprised Lakeland 12-7 and won a share of the NECC title with the Lakers and Fairfield.
