Concordia Girls Head To State For Second Time In Three Years

WARSAW (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Concordia bullt a big first half lead, then withstood a big run by Western to score a 46-35 3A semi-state win Saturday to puts the Cadets in the the girls state basketball finals for the second time in three years.

Lauren Marinko had 14 points, while Annalissa Kammeyer and Courtney Smith each added 13 for Concordia, who took the 3A title at the Memorial Coliseum in 2010.

Concordia will take on Mount Vernon at 6pm next Saturday night at the Hulman Center in Terre Haute, a game that can be seen live on NBC33.
