DAYTON, OHIO (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Casey McElroy slammed a solo homer and the TinCaps tallied twice on Dayton errors to help gain a 3-0 win over the Dragons Saturday night.
The Caps scored single runs in the first and third innings on plays involving Dayton miscues, and McElroy finished the scoring with his blast over the right field wall in the fifth.
Bryan Ohio native Matt Wisler won his first game after three losses with six shutout innings, allowing just two hits and striking out four.
Game 2 of the three game series is Sunday in Dayton.
