Houser Leads Purdue Women Past Ball State (VIDEO)

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (21 Alive) - KK Houser tied her career best with 21 points, including at one point 15 straight, and Purdue turned back a stubborn Ball State 63-57 Sunday in the season opener for both teams.

18th ranked Purdue won despite having scoring leader Courtney Moses held scoreless in 31 minutes of action.

Picking up the slack were Whitney Bays with 13 points and former Elmhurst and Snider star Liza Clemons with ten.

Brittany Carter led Ball State with 19 points.
