IPFW Gets First Ever Mid-Major Poll Spot (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - IPFW has made its first appearance in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 men's basketball poll, sitting at 25th overall with 43 points.

The Mastodons, at 9-4 on the season after a 20-point win at home against SIU Edwardsville, are one of two Summit League schools to be ranked inside of the Top-25.

North Dakota State is ranked 20th.

The mid-major poll, now in its 15th year of existence, is made up of teams from 23 mid-major conferences

Wichita State tops the poll with 774 points and 30 of the 31 first-place votes.

The Mastodons next face off against Eastern Illinois Saturday afternoon at the Gates Sports Center.
